France 2003

Mark — Fri, 12/23/2005 - 20:42

This section is about our trip to France in Sept-Oct 2003. I went there for two weeks on business. Teri went with me for the first week. Overall we had a wonderful time.

One of my major concerns about going there, right behind the fact I don't speak French, was the animosity I'd been hearing about in the news that the French held towards Americans concerning Iraq. I am pleased to say we did not experience anything like that. I found the French to be very friendly and we met some very nice people.

I've divided up the pictures into different topics. We have lots more pictures but I only have so much web space available, so we'll just limit them to the most interesting ones.

Throughout my descriptions of our experiences I basically tell it like it was. I want to be clear that in no way do I want to come across as though I am putting the French down. We had a wonderful time and I'd go back again. But sometimes in order to get the true experience across, well, the story just has to be told a certain way.
